Update October 1, 2014: Stevie Wonder and evening were yesterday and decided as the last pair of kittens, houses on the last day to find our # 100KittyDays promotion, have We could not be happier! These kittens are a fantastic representation of what can happen when everyone works together. We are so grateful to each member of the community, to overcome these two, helped the chances. Special thanks to her foster mother Lisa, Dr. Lukic that their operations and new adoptive mother Sumi!
Update September 24, 2014: Stevie Wonder and are officially available for adoption! Both puppies are healed from their surgery and are healthy and happy. Update September 2, 2014: The two kittens made it through surgery and are healing! Dr Lukic, the veterinarian who performed the surgery, believes that Wonder is light and dark, so that only one to feel removed from his eyes. Stevie, the little girl, can still with one eye, so that they also just needed one. This is great news and between the two of them, they have a complete set! Both kittens are as curious as ever and purrs a storm now that they at home with their foster mother. They have planned a return visit in two weeks for suture removal and if all goes well, they will be up for adoption, his shortly after. More updates to come. Update August 26, 2014 : Stevie Wonder and will continue to improve and they have planned their operations for tomorrow. Foster Mom Lisa is excited about what the vet says. Both her eyes have improved so much, we hope they do not have to be removed. Paws crossed this little warrior to get through. We will provide an update after surgery. A few weeks, a friend of the animals found Found two tiny abandoned kitten. At first glance, it was clear that both were having serious eye infections that, without treatment had reached a critical point.
The kittens were the Spay Neuter Project of Los Angeles Pico Rivera location where brought Dr. Lukic she examined. The prognosis is good – both kittens go to live – but her eyes are badly infected to be saved. The little boy, who is called Wonder are to lose both eyes. Stevie, the little girl will definitely lose, but they may be able to keep the other.
You are currently getting big and strong in foster care. They will stay with their foster mother until they rugged enough to go under anesthesia and surgery are. Your caretaker reported that the two of them always healthy, happy, eating and playing. The little girl kitten can do better than her brother to see a little bit, and he follows their lead. Both kittens are affectionate, enjoy pets, rounds and can purr up a storm!
After the operation, the kittens will be up for adoption as a pair. With everything they’ve been through and how much they rely on each other, we do not want to separate them. These two are “special needs” with limited or no vision
